CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?

After your order is placed, changes + cancellations must be made within 24 hours. 

Changes requested outside of 24 hours cannot be made as your order is already in the hands of our production team.

WHAT METALS DO YOU USE?

Mint uses 14k Gold Filled, .925 Sterling Silver and Rose Gold Filled.  

WHAT IS 14KT GOLD FILL?

Gold filled metal is a high quality alternative to pure gold. It is fused to a base metal, and is 100x thicker than a gold plating. If stored and cared for properly, it is a durable + economical metal that can last a lifetime!

 

DOES YOUR JEWELRY CONTAIN NICKEL?

No.  Our metals are nickel free.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?

If cared for properly sterling silver + 14kt gold fill can last for decades!  Our metals are approved for elements like perspiration & salt water.  When exposed to these and other elements however, take care to rinse or lightly clean using a very soft toothbrush + mild soapy water.  Dry pieces off completely + clean with a standard jewelry polishing cloth.  It's important to store pieces in a dry, airtight place.  Storing openly in a humid environment (i.e. bathroom) is your jewelry's Enemy Number One. 

RETURN + EXCHANGE POLICY

 RETURNS - we will accept returns of non-custom items (hand-stamped etc.) within 14 days of when you've received your items. Once we've received + processed your returned items that are in original resale condition, you will receive a store credit for the amount of the purchased price.  Contact us to initiate a return. 

We do not issue cash or credit refunds, store credit only!

EXCHANGES - exchanges for non-custom items (no personalized hand-stamped pieces) can be processed within 14 business days of receipt. Your items must be in original resale condition. Contact us to start an exchange.

 

DO YOU OFFER REPAIRS?

Mint Jewelry Co. chains are ensured with a 45 day warranty. If your piece has broken outside of our warranty period, we charge a flat-rate repair fee of $20 per piece (includes shipping). 

Due to current order volume, your repair may take approximately 2 to 4 weeks to process. 

 

WILL MY JEWELRY TARNISH?

All fine metals tarnish with time and is highly subjective according to individual chemistry, use + care. The life of your piece is strongly dependent on your care.  We recommend storing your jewelry in an airtight, non-humid environment. Your pieces are easy to maintain and clean. If you wish to polish your pieces we recommend using a soft toothbrush with warm water of mild liquid soap.  A standard jewelry cleaning/polishing cloth the perfect finishing touch before storing. 

 

WILL MY FINGER TURN GREEN?

Body chemistry, like hormones are a highly subjective individual thing.  Metals react differently on everyone.  That said, our 14kt Gold Fill + Sterling Silver are high quality metals that do to commonly cause irritation or discoloration on most individuals.  Unless of course, if you personally have an existing allergy to these specific metals. 

 

WHAT IF I LOST ONE EARRING?

Contact us right away if you lose an earring. Provide us with a photo of your existing earring, and we can create a single match for you!  You will be charged 50% of a full pair.

 

WHAT IF MY STONES DON’T MATCH THE MARKETING PHOTO? 

Nothing we deliver to you is mass produced. We hand-make your piece to order, and hand pick natural stones. Stones themselves are natural entities with the same batch possessing stones that vary in color intensity or individual inclusion patterns.  We do our best to represent a reasonable likeness to the image in our photos, but no two stones are carbon copies of one another.  Pay attention to notes within each web piece.
